Serve them with pork or lamb or use to make a delicious hummus. Cook them with tomato sauce and serve over rice. Tasty and filling, chickpeas are highly tious. Except from being a great source of protein, chickpeas are packed with calcium, magnesium, potassium, B s and are also rich in fibre. They are excellent for a -based diet and a perfect meal for vegans and vegetarians. Enjoy them as a veggie starter or main dish. Cooking instructions: You have to soak chickpeas before cooking. In a saucepan with water soak the dried chickpeas overnight. Once soaked, place them in a strainer, rinse thoroughly under cool running water, and they are ready for your recipe.
