substances that you might need to limit, such as salt and
caffeine. Make smarter choices and enjoy the ride.

What will Fit not tell me?
Your fit results are not diagnostic of your current state of
. Our fit reports are not designed to be used for

can illuminate a more efficient route towards your goal, whatever
goal that may be.
Does the test report ies and intolerance?
Our test cannot report on ies, because these are not known
to have a genetic component. The only food intolerance we report
is for lactose tolerance. For information relating to
intolerances and ies, you would need to consult with a
medical professional.
Will I ever need to be retested?
There is no need to retake the fit test, as your genes do not
change throughout the course of your life. This is a one off

you can apply again and again throughout your life, helping
personalise your approach to your diet or tion strategies,
rather than just following the average advice.

What is the research behind fit?
At fit, we have a strict inclusion protocol to evaluate
whether a gene will be included in our reports. Each gene must
have a minimum of 3-peer reviewed studies in humans demonstrating
the effect, there must be a consensus on that effect, and that
effect must be modifiable through an environmental and lifestyle
change.
How do you store and protect my data?
fit treats your data with the importance it deserves. We are
proud to be the only consumer genetics company to be awarded with
the ISO 27001 certification. ISO 27001 is the global standard for
information security management. Your results are confidential
and are not shared unless we have your prior permission to do so.
The raw data itself is pseudonymised by way of a serial number,
so no personal information is shared. The swabs are then securely
destroyed by the lab. Our current privacy policy can be found on
