How did you come up with the idea for this product?

At Ninety7 we are always striving to elevate products and brands through design and innovation. The Echo Dot is a phenomenal device for so many people but has limitations in terms of portability and aesthetics, which is what inspired us to design our product. DOX elevates the Echo Dot from gadget in the corner of your countertop needing plugs and outlets, to indispensable portable home companion anywhere in your home. DOX transforms Dot into a beautifully designed cordless device that provides hours of untethered freedom and ease of use not possible before.

What makes your product special?

We hear from Dot lovers all the time that one of their biggest pain points is that it doesn't have a built-in battery and has to be plugged-in at all timers in order to work.
