These fittings are far more hygienic than the plastic SAFE-T BUMPERS as they stabilize the toilet seat by fixing the source of the problem, the loose hinge. They are also cheaper and easier to fit, no drilling required and you only need a pair of pliers to fit this kit. Full fitting instructions are sent with each kit. HOW DOES THIS KIT WORK - Toilet seats become loose because the holes in the toilet are bigger than the metal rods that fit through them which means that the rods, and hence the hinges and seat, have room to move about. The standard fittings do nothing to stop this movement. The rubber fittings in this NON SLIP kit are squeezed into the gaps between the rods and toilet by tightening the wing nuts. This eliminates any possible movement of the hinge, AND HENCE THE SEAT, and also holds the hinge tightly down onto the toilet . THE KIT CONSISTS of two unique cone - shaped NON SLIP rubber fittings, two 8mm wing nuts, two 25mm metal washers and two 8mm zinc plated metal threaded rods - 70mm in length, The kit will fit all toilet s regardless of the size of the holes. It will fit all toilet seats that have the type of hinge shown in one of the pictures. NOTE 98% of this type of hinge have 6mm fittings and a 6mm KIT IS ALSO AVAILABLE on .
