RST's square notched trowel is perfect for tile, carpet or other floor covering insulation. The notches on the trowel allow you to spread and comb the adhesive into even lines of identical thickness creating gaps in the adhesive which allows the air to escape when a tile is pressed into position. The notch style and size help control the depth and a of adhesive being applied. This tool is fitted with a shaped wood handle which offers a smooth and comfortable grip.
