Helpful Hints:
Livid White Makeup: : Before applying makeup, slip on any part
of the costume that will require stretching over the head. Onto a
clean, dry face, apply dots of livid white makeup with
fingertips. Blend makeup over face and neck with sponge.
Midnight Black Makeup:With sponge or fingertips, use midnight
black makeup to shadow eye sockets. With brush, add clown
triangle eyebrows on forehead.
Liquid Latex: DO NOT USE NEAR EYES OR IN HAIR. With a sponge,
apply several coats of liquid latex on the face. Let latex dry
completely between each coat. Use a blowdryer set on COOL or LOW
setting to dry latex. See Liquid Latex caution below.
Wound Effect: With a toothpick or tweezer, gently tear holes in
the latex. It is important to note that latex will only tear away
from the skin when completely dry. Create a wound effect by
pulling latex away from face. Make several holes or flaps. Fill
center of holes with bloody scab. Use red makeup with a brush to
outline the wound effect.
Horror Teeth: Rinse with soapy warm water and insert into mouth
to check for fit. If necessary, cut with scissor along the gum
line or shorten at either end. Trim only a little bit at a time.
No adhesive needed. However, a commercial, dental adhesive may be
used. Make sure Horror Teeth and your teeth are dry. Apply
adhesive to inside walls of Teeth and insert into mouth. Horror
Teeth adhere to your gums, not your teeth. For the final touch,
add the clown nose.
Liquid Latex:
1. DO NOT USE NEAR EYES OR IN HAIR.
2. With a sponge, apply several coats of liquid latex onto skin.
Let dry in between each coat. Use a blow dryer set on low or cool
setting to dry latex. Apply latex on the cheeks, just past the
corner of the mouth and up towards the ears. Use the image on the
front of the card as a guide.
3. When latex is completely dry, gently pick it to tear holes
and create the wound effects. Fill holes with red makeup using
the brush.
Liquid Blood:
Hold tube to area to be bloodied. Gently squeeze, blood will
trickle out of tube. Liquid blood will thicken and set like real
blood.
Removal: Wash with mild soap and warm water with disposable
paper towels. If blood temporarily stains skin, DO NOT RUB. The
stain will fade with gentle washing.*

recognized as safe for use in cosmetics. However, as with any
cosmetic, some individuals may experience an ic reaction. A
patch test is recommended. Apply a spot of product to inside
elbow or wrist. Leave for 30-60 minutes. If a reaction occurs,
discontinue use.
* Liquid Latex contains NATURAL RUBBER LATEX which may cause an
ic reaction.
* Do not use Liquid Latex in or around the mouth or eye areas.
Avoid contact with facial or body hair. Liquid latex can become
entangled in fine facial hair (peach fuzz) of Women, Girls and
Boys of pre-shaving age. To make removal easier, apply a light
coat of face cream, oil or makeup before applying liquid latex.
If liquid latex becomes entangled in hair or fuzz, saturate a
cotton ball with olive oil or mineral oil and apply liberally to
the area. The oil will lubricate the hair with which the liquid
latex has become entangled and make it easier to separate the
liquid latex from the hair. Avoid contact with clothing, rugs,
and upholstery. Scrub with warm water and soap. Do not use cool
water as it will set the latex.
* Do not use red makeup in or around the eye areas.
* Do not use white makeup in or around the mouth areas.
