The Antennas Direct CDA8 amplifier boosts signal of your indoor or outdoor TV antenna to be split to 8 TVs for clear, consistent picture quality and reception. Designed for both home and professional use, the 8-output distribution amplifier helps overcome signal loss when 50 feet or more of coaxial cable is used between the antenna and the TVs or converter boxes. Splitting TV signals will result in a certain a of signal loss and this distribution amplifier counters that loss by boosting the available signal from the coaxial cable coming from the TV antenna. Our CDA8 Distribution Amplifier is commonly used in homes and businesses in urban, suburban, and rural areas where the TV antenna or CATV system needs to distribute signal to as many as eight TVs without impacting the signal quality. This distribution amplifier is recommended for indoor use but can be used outdoors. For outdoor use, we recommend using coaxial cables with watertight F-connectors along with weather boots. If installing outdoors, you will need a power inserter (not included) to allow the included power supply to share the coaxial cable connected to the designated output shown on the Distribution Amplifier.
