Kyknos was founded in 1915 by Michail and Costas Manoussakis. Costa's son Dimitris achieved a breakthrough in 1928 with the introduction of various methods of concentrating tomato pastes of exceptionally high quality. To this day, Kyknos remains in the hands of the family and is run by Costa's grandson Giorgos Manoussakis and his daughter Martha. Only the best tomatoes are still used for production. Here, an extremely rigorous selection takes place, in which many tomatoes do not meet the high quality requirements and are not allowed to pass through the gates to production in the first place. Farmers from the Ilia region have adapted to this and grow only the very best tomatoes in consultation with Kyknos. The are obtained directly from Kyknos. Cultivation takes place under the constant supervision of Kyknos agronomists. Preservatives and artificial dyes are completely dispensed with during production. 100% natural, the fine fruity taste experience is provided beyond the conventional standard product.
