Can this drying rack withstand a full laundry load with two heavy towels, jeans, and sweaters?

The rack is very sturdy. I hung large bath towels on it with no problem. I don’t know what you consider a large load but I know that what would generally be called a large load would not fit... you would need either a taller or longer rack for that.

What are the product dimensions when it is collapsed?

The box it comes in is 4.5" x 21" x 30.5" tall. When folded, the rack fits fairly snug...maybe 0.5" to 1" smaller in each dimension. Hope this helps.
